Drafting Exhibit Designs

In my Exhibition Development course, I designed an small exhibit layout for a Morse code practice buzzer in the Peterborough Museum & Archives’ collection. I ensured there was enough space for a proper artifact mount, an interpretive panel, and interactive elements. I created scale drawings of a floor plan and an elevation for my proposed exhibit.

Skills Acquired:

  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
  • Understanding of scales and geometry
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Interpretive planning
